Use Wire Transfers to Withdraw Your Earnings
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Wire transfers let you send your earnings directly to a bank account outside the U.S. using international bank networks.
This option is often used for larger transfers, but fees are typically higher and processing times may be longer than other methods.
Before you start
To use wire transfers, you’ll need a bank account that supports international transfers through the SWIFT network.
The name on your bank account must match your verified name. If it doesn’t, your withdrawal may be delayed or rejected.
You’ll also need to provide bank details when setting up this method.
Set up a wire transfer
Go to Settings
Select Get Paid
Click Add method
Select Wire Transfer
Enter your bank account details SWIFT code, contact information, and any additional required details (these may vary depending on your country or bank)
Click Save
For security, your withdrawal method becomes active after a 3-day hold.
Double-check your details before submitting. Incorrect information can lead to delays or failed transfers.
What information you may need
When setting up a wire transfer, you may be asked for:
SWIFT code (required)
You must enter a valid SWIFT code. SWIFT codes identify specific banks and branches and must match the official SWIFT database.
Bank account number or IBAN
Some countries require that your bank account number be entered as an International Bank Account Number (IBAN). If this applies to your country, the system will request the IBAN during setup.
Your contact details
You may need to provide your physical address and phone number. In some cases, your email address may also be required.
Additional bank or routing information (varies by country)
Tax ID — If required in your country, the system may use the Tax ID from your tax or onboarding information. If changes are needed, they must be updated in your tax settings.
Preferred intermediary bank — Some banks require a specific intermediary bank to facilitate international transfers. Your bank can confirm whether this is necessary.
Bank routing code - Certain countries require a routing number or national bank code. You can typically find this on your bank statement or by contacting your bank.
Proof of earnings - If your bank requests confirmation of earnings, you may be able to download a payment statement or earnings report from your account and provide it directly to your bank.
Fees and timing
Wire transfers usually have higher fees than other withdrawal methods.
Processing times vary by bank and country, and transfers may take several business days to complete.
Manage your wire transfer method
You can update or remove your wire transfer details from your Withdrawals settings.
For security reasons, you can’t edit:
Bank account numbers
SWIFT codes
Email addresses
If these change, you’ll need to add a new method and remove the outdated one.
Common issues
Incorrect bank details
If your information is incorrect, the transfer may fail or be delayed. Confirm your details with your bank before submitting.
Delays in processing
Wire transfers can take several business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank and any intermediary institutions.
