Getting Paid on Lifted

Learn when your earnings become available and how to withdraw them.
Before you can get paid, you’ll need to:
Add your tax information
Set up a withdrawal method
When you’ll get paid
Your payout timing depends on your contract type.
Hourly contracts
Billed weekly (Monday–Sunday)
Weekly timesheets are automatically submitted
Funds become available after:
a 5-day client review period, and
a 5-day security hold
Milestone and recurring contracts
Funds become available after:
a 15-day client review period, and
a 5-day security hold
If your funds aren’t available yet, they’re likely still within these timelines.
Set up your withdrawal method
Go to Settings
Select Get Paid
Click Add method
Choose your withdrawal method
Enter the required details for your selected method
Click Next
Once you add a withdrawal method, it will become active after a 3-day security hold.
You can add multiple withdrawal methods and choose which one to use when withdrawing funds.
Withdraw your earnings
Go to Transactions
Select Withdraw funds
Choose a withdrawal method
Available options depend on your location.
Bank transfers
Lower cost
May take longer depending on your bank
Instant Pay (U.S. only)
Fastest option
Small fee per transfer
Third-party providers (Payoneer, M-Pesa)
Flexible and widely used
Processing times vary
Some providers may charge additional fees.
Track your earnings
To check your available balance:
Go to Transactions
View your Available balance
Select a contract to see when funds will be released.
Common payment issues
My earnings aren’t available yet
Check your contract type and timing above. Most delays are due to standard processing windows.
My withdrawal failed
This usually happens if your account details are incorrect or the account is closed. Funds are typically returned within 4–8 business days.
Name mismatch on account
Your withdrawal account name must match your verified Lifted name.
Can I cancel a withdrawal?
No. Once submitted, withdrawals can’t be canceled. If you see a withdrawal you didn’t make, report it right away.
