Lifted primarily works through invited opportunities. Clients and Lifted Talent Sourcers may invite you to apply for projects that match your experience and skills.
Some opportunities may also appear on Upwork. Whether you receive a direct invitation or discover a role through Upwork search, all proposals are submitted through Lifted.
Receiving opportunities through Upwork
Clients and Lifted Talent Sourcers may invite you to apply through Upwork.
In some cases, Lifted opportunities may also appear publicly in Upwork search results. Lifted opportunities on Upwork include a Lifted icon so you can identify them easily.
In both cases:
You’ll see partial job details on Upwork
Selecting Apply on Lifted redirects you to Lifted
You’ll review the full job details and submit your proposal on Lifted
If you don’t already have a Lifted account, you’ll be prompted to consent to creating one during the application flow.
Receiving invitations on Lifted
Clients and Lifted Talent Sourcers may also invite you directly through Lifted.
When you receive an invitation in Lifted, you can:
Open the job post
Review the full role details
Submit your proposal
Submitting a proposal
All proposals are submitted through Lifted.
Once you open the role in Lifted, you can:
Review the complete job description
Learn more about the client’s requirements
Submit your proposal directly on the platform

Can I browse jobs directly on Lifted?
Lifted does not currently offer a public job marketplace inside the platform.
Most opportunities are shared through direct invitations from clients or Lifted Talent Sourcers. Some opportunities may also appear on Upwork before redirecting to Lifted to continue the application process.
How will I know if I've been invited to apply?
You may receive:
An email notification
An invitation through Upwork
A notification within Lifted
